We are very excited about our new S5 Clan Roster component! This component allows you to easily organize your gaming clan's members into multiple categories. Each of these categories can show basic information like username, real name, email address, a photo of the user but it can also show up to 20 of your own custom fields that you can label with your own descriptions and content. Each category can have it's own unique 20 fields and users may be assigned to multiple categories! Make it as simple or as detailed as you wish. If you simply want to list your users with some basic information you can do that. If you want to create multiple categories of users based on their locations or what games they play you can do that as well! Keeping information up to date is easy, users can edit their own information once logged in.

Full Feature List:

Categories

1. Easily create your own set of categories. You can create just one category for a simple roster or create a series of parent and sub level categories if you wish. Sites using only one category will navigate to that category's page by default on the frontend, sites using more than one category will show a category choose page where the user will pick which category to enter.

2. Create new categories, edit existing ones or simply copying a category and all of its settings is all done with a push of the button. Copying can be very useful if you are setting up similar categories and want only minor differences in your categories.

3. Setup your own description per category with Joomla's editor features.

4. Easily adjust your features on a per category basis. Each category can have it's own settings, descriptions and custom fields. In this section you can adjust what items are shown, how long your category short description will be and how many rows and users are shown on each category page.

5. Page navigation will automatically show when the number of users has exceed the page limit set in the category.

Custom Fields

1. Need to show your own custom fields such as birthdays, games played, other interests, etc.? Each category comes with its own set of unique custom fields. You may use up to 20 custom fields per category! You may choose between text and textarea fields and you may enable or disable them as needed.

Users

1. Each user can control their own data from the frontend. When logged in they will see an edit icon next to their name and they will be able to edit only their information and any custom fields associated to them.

2. Every user can also upload or delete their own avatar photo.

3. In the administrator area admins will be able to edit user's details, including the groups they belong to, email, username, password, groups, any custom fields that belong to that user based on what categories they belong to and more. This information is directly pulled from the Joomla users table to avoid double entry.
